Systems Administrator buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads

Position Summary
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining QES networks including, but not limited to, troubleshooting current systems, performing checks to insure systems are functioning properly, data backups, if applicable, and administration, and installing and maintaining software updates.
Reporting Line
The Systems Administrator will report directly to the Director of IT.
The IT Manager will functionally supervise the Systems Administrator.

Install and configure software and hardware.
Maintain and monitor data backup procedures.
Configure, refurbish and ship computers as needed.
Install and configure software and hardware.
Manage network servers and technology tools.
Set up accounts and workstations.
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
Configure and maintain phone systems.
Data migrations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Education Requirements (Minimum and Preferred)
Computer associates degree or equivalent experience.
Experience (Minimum and Preferred)
5-10 years' experience.
Licenses, Certifications, Credentials (Minimum and Preferred)
Preferred technology certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Comp TIA A+, Cisco Telephony / Networking.
Work Hours/Overtime
Core office hours, plus the ability to work and perform after-hours and weekends as needed. The company operates 24/7. On call for one week every 2-3 weeks.
